Beyond the Blog

While We Went Anyway is a space for reflection, presence, and travel — it is also rooted in the deeper work I have spent my life doing: understanding trauma, promoting healing, and challenging the systems that keep people stuck.

If you have found your way here because of a story, a shared experience, or a search for something more — welcome. If you are here to learn more or explore ways we might collaborate, you are in the right place.

Science for Survivors

I am the founder and CEO of Science for Survivors, a platform where psychology meets advocacy, consultation, and trauma-informed care.

Through Science for Survivors, I offer:

  • Therapy for adults healing from PTSD and complex trauma (telehealth, U.S.-based)

  • Consulting and training for organizations, communities, and clinicians working in high-trauma or underserved contexts

  • Expert witness and forensic mental health evaluations (including asylum, disability, and trauma-focused legal cases)

Speaking, Writing, & Public Education

Outside of clinical work, I speak, teach, and write about trauma, recovery, and building full lives after harm.

I have delivered talks and keynotes on trauma-informed care, emotional health, burnout, and recovery — including a TEDx talk on how systems uphold rape culture and what we can do about it.
